18 January 2021 – Ipoh Mayor Dato' Rumaizi Baharin@ Md Daud launched a special MBI pothole complaint platform this morning at Dewan Azlan Shah, 10th Floor, MBI Building, Jalan Sultan Abdul Jalil, Ipoh. Also present were City Councillors, City Council Secretary, Senior Directors and MBI department heads.

The special pothole complaint platform will use the WhatsApp application 017-4122113, URL or QR Code developed by Ipoh City Council for the convenience of Ipoh citizens.

MBI has provided information and procedures on the use of the application to help Ipoh citizens to channel complaints.

This application can be browsed from 18 January 2021.

Ipoh citizens can browse the Ipoh City Council Website, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to use this application.

Within 2 weeks, the Ipoh City Council will monitor the effectiveness of the application and will make improvements after receiving feedback from Ipoh citizens.

I hope Ipoh citizens can be the eyes and ears to help Ipoh City Council identify the pothole areas with accurate and valid location information and thus resolve this problem quickly and effectively.
