COURTESY VISIT BY PERAK TOURISM ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT ON MAYOR OF IPOH

IPOH, 8 OCTOBER 2025 – Perak Tourism Association President Dato’ Mohd Odzman Abdul Kadir paid a courtesy visit on Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah at the Ipoh City Council (MBI) building today.

The visit aimed to strengthen strategic relationship between Ipoh City Council and the Perak Tourism Association in efforts to further boost the tourism sector in Ipoh City and make the city a major tourism destination of Perak.

During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on the potential development of new tourism products, the organisation of high-impact events and joint initiatives to promote the unique heritage, culture and natural beauty found around the city.

Mayor Zamakhshari expressed his appreciation to the Perak Tourism Association for its commitment and close cooperation with MBI in strengthening the local tourism ecosystem.

He stressed that MBI always supports efforts to enhance the city's attraction through approaches based on sustainability and community well-being, in line with the goal of making Ipoh a Green and Liveable City.
