The visit was held as an initial effort to obtain guidance and technical advice from UNIDO regarding the bidding process for the Climate Resilience Adaptation Fund for the Kinta Riverine Ipoh Botanical Garden Project. This project is part of MBI's strategic initiative towards strengthening the city’s resilience to climate change, through an integrated approach in river conservation, green infrastructure development and urban biodiversity enrichment.

In response, Chamsuk shared valuable insights on effective bidding strategies, including emphasis on the strength of the project's technical components, local community involvement, and collaboration among various stakeholders.
The meeting also opened up space for stronger collaboration between MBI and UNIDO in the areas of regenerative development and climate change adaptation, towards the implementation of sustainable and inclusive high-impact projects.
MBI greatly appreciates this visit, which not only strengthens international cooperation networks but also provides a clear direction in efforts to make Ipoh a proactive city, ready to face the challenges of climate change for the well-being of future communities.
