GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR IPOH SENTRAL DEVELOPMENT

IPOH, 16 AUGUST 2025 – Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim today officiated the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ipoh Sentral Development, a high-impact development project set to become a new landmark in Ipoh city. The ceremony was held at the Ipoh Railway Station grounds.

Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad, Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah and MRCB Land Sdn. Bhd Chairman Tan Sri Mohd Annuar Zaini.

The Ipoh Sentral project is expected to be a key catalyst for economic growth in Perak, offering a modern transportation hub and mixed-use development that connects Ipoh to other major cities in Malaysia.
