LAUNCH CEREMONY OF PERAK STATE LEVEL NATIONAL MONTH & FLY THE JALUR GEMILANG 2025

MERU, 15 AUGUST 2025 – Perak Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad officiated the Launch Ceremony of the Perak State Level National Month & Fly the Jalur Gemilang 2025, held in a lively atmosphere at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah, Meru, tonight.

Also present to enliven the event were State Exco Members, Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah, heads of departments, and representatives of government agencies and local authorities.

The ceremony began with the singing of the Negaraku and Perak state anthem, followed by the recitation of the pledge and a welcome performance. Next, a welcome speech was delivered by the State Communication, Multimedia and NGO Committee Chairman, before the event was officially launched by the Menteri Besar.

The launch was livened up with an opening gimmick, a performance of the patriotic Jalur Gemilang song, the flag-off of a vehicle convoy, and a Night Walk event participated by people from all walks of life. A performance by local artists then concluded the event on this meaningful night.

This programme not only symbolises the spirit of patriotism, but also reflects the unity and love of the people of Perak for the country ahead of the National Day celebrations.
