MAYOR OF IPOH PAYS COURTESY VISIT ON PERAK STATE ASSEMBLY SPEAKER

IPOH, 17 JULY 2025 – Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah paid a courtesy visit on Perak State Assembly Speaker Dato' Mohamad Zahir Abdul Khalid at his office today.

The visit aimed to strengthen strategic relationships between local authorities (PBT) and the state legislative institution in efforts to enhance governance and services to the people, particularly the residents of Ipoh.

During the meeting, various issues related to urban development, community well-being, and the role of the State Assembly in supporting the urban sustainability agenda were also discussed. The Mayor also shared the initiatives of the Ipoh City Council (MBI) that are currently and will be implemented for the well-being of the residents.

Hopefully, this meeting can open up opportunities for closer cooperation between MBI and the state legislative body in implementing policies that have a high impact on the people.
