MBI STRENGTHENS DIGITAL WORK CULTURE VIA ICT BRIEFING SERIES 1/2026

IPOH, 29 OCTOBER 2026 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) continues to strengthen its organisational digitalisation agenda through the ICT Briefing Series 1/2026 Programme themed “ICT@Work: Digital Work Culture”.

The programme, which involved the participation of more than 50 MBI staff, aimed to enhance the workforce’s knowledge and awareness regarding the importance of using digital technology in daily work tasks.

The briefing was delivered by Ts. Zolkefli Mohd Idris, Principal Assistant State Secretary, Digital Division, Perak State Secretariat.

The programme emphasised the fostering of a digital work culture to improve the efficiency, productivity and quality of MBI's service delivery in a more systematic and effective manner, in line with the organisation's digital transformation requirements.

The programme, organised by MBI Information Technology Division, Management Services Department, is expected to encourage staff to apply the knowledge gained in carrying out their daily tasks, thereby improving the quality of service delivery to the public.
