"MENCINTAI MALAYSIA MADANI, WARGA IPOH DISANTUNI" PROGRAMME IN CONJUNCTION WITH MALAYSIA DAY CELEBRATION 2025
IPOH, 12 SEPTEMBER 2025 - Ipoh City Council organised the "Mencintai Malaysia Madani, Warga Ipoh Disantuni" programme in conjunction with Malaysia Day Celebration on 12 and 13 September 2025 at the Tun Razak Library (PTR) in Ipoh.
The programme aimed to ignite the spirit of patriotism and love for the country among the Ipoh community, especially the younger generation. Through educational, artistic and cultural approaches, this initiative is hoped to nurture the values of Malaysia Madani in the daily lives of city residents.
Among the interesting activities that have been arranged are:
a) Special visits from Tadika Genius Aulad Seri Manjung and Sekolah Menengah Rendah Wira Jaya (Pendidikan Khas Integrasi, Halaman Ampang Mewah),
b) A total of 128 individuals participated in the colouring competition, 50 took part in the puzzle competition, 25 will compete in the Malaysian costume contest on 13 September 2025 and 15 have participated in the online Malaysia Day poetry recitation competition,
c) Kompang performances, patriotic songs and prize giving,
d) Heritage exhibition, FunZone (traditional games) and patriotic song karaoke for all visitors throughout the two-day programme.
The event was enlivened by the presence of MBI Chief WHIP Dato' Mazlan Abd Rahman, who delivered a speech instilling the spirit of unity among the participants and love for their beloved country, Malaysia.
This two-day programme served as a platform for Ipoh residents to express their love for the country while embracing the meaning of independence and the value of togetherness in a multiracial society. With the theme "Mencinta - Malaysia Madani, Warga Disantuni", it emphasised the importance of the people continuing to unite to build a progressive, harmonious and prosperous nation.
