PERAK STATE GOVERNMENT MEET THE CLIENTS DAY MESRA PROGRAMME LIVELY AT KOLEJ POLY-TECH MARA, IPOH

IPOH, 29 SEPTEMBER 2025 – Kolej Poly-Tech MARA, Ipoh today became the focal point for Perak residents when thousands of visitors attended the Perak State Government Meet The Clients Day MESRA Programme, which was held in a spirit of openness and service to the people.

The programme, organised by the Perak State Government, was officiated by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad and attended by State Exco Members and senior officers of state government departments and agencies.

Also present to show his commitment to the people’s aspirations was Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah, who personally went down to the ground to inspect and engage with the city residents. He took the opportunity to listen personally to the problems and suggestions from the residents and provide direct feedback to them.

During the event, Ipoh City Council received complaints, feedback and suggestions, such as assessment tax complaints, damaged roads, proposals for road hump requests, and a new drainage system in the Ipoh City Council administrative areas.

The programme was further enlivened with exhibitions of government department and agency services, dialogue sessions with leaders, complaint counters, health screenings and various family-friendly community activities.

The Meet The Clients Day initiative is seen as one of the Perak State Government’s proactive approaches in strengthening a culture of integrity, transparency, and more efficient and inclusive public service delivery to the people.
