POST-FLOOD CLEAN-UP OPERATIONS – TAIPING

30 OCTOBER 2025 – A post-flood clean-up operation was carried out on 30 October 2025 (Thursday) in the Taiping Municipal Council administrative area, i.e., in Kampung Expo, Kampung Expo Tambahan, Taman Larah Damai and Taman Kamunting Mutiara, Taiping. The operation was conducted to assist in the cleaning and removal of bulk waste from residential areas affected by the recent flood disaster.

This operation involved collaboration among several departments under the Ipoh City Council (MBI), namely the Public Health and Urban Services Department with a team of 30 personnel, four personnel each from the Enforcement and Security Department, and the Public Works Department (Workshop & Transportation).

To facilitate smooth field operations, several vehicles were deployed, including two Roro lorries and two open lorries. 

The clean-up work was carried out in stages in the affected areas, focusing on the collection of bulk waste and cleaning up the environment to ensure that residential areas were restored to a clean and safe condition.

This operation demonstrates MBI’s continued commitment in channelling assistance to disaster-affected areas, while also strengthening the spirit of compassion and social responsibility among the personnel involved.
