THIS TIME'S IPOH LOW CARBON DAY (ILCD) PROGRAM IS THE 74TH SERIES PROGRAM WHICH HELD IN A FEASTFUL ATMOSPHERE WITH THE PRESENCE OF 2000 IPOH CITIZENS
27th October 2024 - The Ipoh Low Carbon Day (ILCD) program this time is the 74th series program which took place in a lively atmosphere with the presence of 2000 Ipoh residents.
Various events were held such as booth exhibitions, cycling events and leisure running events.
The program which started as early as 7.00 am continued with the Kayun Ipoh Bestari Sejahtera 2024 event organized by the Ipoh City Council and followed by the World Stroke Day Fun Run 2024 leisure running event from the Malaysia Stroke Council in collaboration with the Perak State Health Department.

The Ipoh Bestari Sejahtera 2024 Cycling is a 20-kilometer cycling event and participation is open to all citizens. A lucky draw prize in the form of a total cash prize of RM5K is provided for lucky cycling participants.
The goal of organizing the Ipoh Low Carbon Day program will remain as an agenda to transform Ipoh into a Low Carbon City in line with the Low Carbon City Challenge 2030 (LCC2030C). This is as MBI's contribution to helping achieve the country's commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 45 percent by 2030.
The main theme of Ipoh CFD this October is the International Day of Climate Action Celebration. This theme is hoped to provide space for city residents to assess the extent of MBI's success in its planning, especially in raising awareness about Carbon Emissions and Climate Change. In addition, health screenings and health education exhibitions by the Medical Department, Rehabilitation Department and Pharmacy Department from Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital for the public are also provided.
