VISIT BY IPOH CITY COUNCIL DELEGATION TO ISKANDAR PUTERI CITY COUNCIL STRENGTHENS STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LOCAL AUTHORITIES

IPOH, 9 OCTOBER 2025 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) conducted a benchmarking visit to the Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) in an official visit that was held in a friendly and harmonious atmosphere.

The 30-member delegation was led by MBI Management Services Director Normala Latiff and was warmly welcomed by MBIP Information Technology Director Ts. Siti Rafidah Ariffin.

The visit aimed to learn about the implementation of portal management. The MBI portal is very important as it serves as the main digital gateway for Ipoh residents to access information, services and official interactions with MBI. The MBI portal reflects the level of professionalism, transparency and efficiency, encompassing various key functions related to public services, administration, payments and complaints.

Meanwhile, the MBI delegation was also given the opportunity to visit the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, Iskandar Puteri in Johor Bahru. 

MBI greatly appreciates such visits, which serve as an important platform for the exchange of ideas, knowledge transfer and sharing of best practices among Local Authorities (PBT). This initiative is believed to have a positive impact on the continuous efforts to improve service delivery quality and strengthen inter-agency cooperation for the well-being of the people. 

The event concluded with a photo session and exchange of souvenirs between both parties, as a symbol of the close and continuous cooperative relationship.
