IPOH, 8 JULY 2025 – Hulu Kinta Assemblyman (ADUN) Muhamad Arafat Varisai Mahamad went down to the ground to the Taman Kinding and Kampung Baru Changkat Kinding areas this morning to assess problems related to flash floods which have caused concern among local residents.

Also present during the visit were Ipoh City Councillor Clr. Norhayati Sani; representatives from the Tambun Parliamentary Office, the Public Works Department (JKR), the Irrigation and Drainage Department (JPS), the Land and Mines Office and Taman Kinding Akasia Residents Association; representatives of Ipoh City Council department heads and Puncak Emas Infra Sdn. This going down to the ground visit demonstrates the Council's commitment to understanding the realities at the community level and striving to find the best holistic solutions. Hopefully, this issue can be addressed in stages to ensure the well-being of residents and support a more sustainable and balanced urban development.
