I-LESEN SYSTEM WORK PROCESS COORDINATION WORKSHOP

PENANG, 12 SEPTEMBER 2025 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) organised a three-day i-Lesen System Work Process Coordination Workshop from 10 to 12 September 2025 at Berjaya Hotel in Penang.

The workshop was officially opened by City Secretary Ahmad Munir Ishak on 10 September 2025, while the Closing Ceremony was officiated by Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah on 12 September 2025.

A total of 27 staff from various departments attended the workshop, including the Legal Unit, Building Commissioner Branch, Licensing Department, Public Health & Municipal Services Department, Enforcement & Security Department, Management Services Department, Urban Planning Department and Treasury Department.

The organisation of this workshop was part of MBI's efforts to enhance the efficiency of the service delivery system and strengthen digital practices in daily administrative affairs. In addition, it also served as a learning platform and competency improvement so that all staff can become agents of change towards a more efficient, transparent and digital-friendly service system.

Through this workshop, participants were not only exposed to technical aspects of the i-Lesen System but had the opportunity to exchange views, share experiences, and draft improvements that can be utilised in MBI's daily operations.

The Ipoh City Council believes that such initiatives will continue to strengthen a work culture based on digital innovation, thus providing better quality and more effective services to Ipoh residents.
