LOCAL COFFEE MINI FESTIVAL 3.0 & AEROBIC CHALLENGE COMPETITION
IPOH, 4 OCTOBER 2025 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) organised two exciting programmes simultaneously at the Indera Mulia Stadium, Ipoh.
The programmes were the Local Coffee Mini Festival 3.0 and the Aerobic Challenge Competition.
Both programmes were organised by MBI Community and Social Services Department with the support of various parties, including government agencies, local communities and craft and coffee entrepreneurs. Besides, the event served as a platform to promote a healthy lifestyle and introduce the richness of local coffee flavours to the general public.
Earlier, the Mini Local Coffee Festival 3.0 programme, which started as early as 9.00 a.m., involved the participation of nine coffee vendors from throughout Perak.
In conjunction with the programme, other activities were also held - an interactive quiz involving information about coffee, a singing performance by Kumpulan Gema Warisan Budaya MBI, as well as handicraft sales by art and craft traders from Lorong Seni@Lorong Panglima, Ipoh.
Also present to enliven the morning programme were Councillors Mohamed Helmi Mohamed Fuzi and Tang Cheng Wei, along with MBI City Community Director Romzi Zamri.
Meanwhile, in the afternoon, the second programme, the Aerobic Challenge Competition, was held for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The competition commenced at 3:00 pm at the Indera Mulia Stadium, Ipoh.
The programme aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle, improve fitness levels and encourage the Ipoh community to participate in physical fitness activities collectively.
The event was divided into 3 categories:
Category A: 30 years to 49 years old
Category B: 50 years to 65 years old
Category C: 18 years to 29 years old
The prizes provided for the winners in each category of the Aerobic Challenge 2025 were:
Champion: RM600.00
Runner-up: RM400.00
3rd Place: RM300.00
4th to 8th Place: RM100.00
9th to 12th Place: RM50.00
Participants also had the chance to win lucky draw prizes throughout the event. A total of five instructors from Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh conducted aerobic sessions, featuring a variety of aerobics and Zumba.
Meanwhile, the panel of qualified judges was invited from Perak and Kuala Lumpur.
