MAYOR OF IPOH OFFICIATES LAUNCH CEREMONY OF MBI LEVEL FLY THE JALUR GEMILANG 2025 CAMPAIGN

IPOH, 15 AUGUST 2025 – Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah officiated the Launch Ceremony of the Ipoh City Council (MBI) Level Fly the Jalur Gemilang Campaign, held in a lively atmosphere at Persiaran Bougainvillea in Ipoh.

The ceremony was also attended by Clr. Dato' Mazlan Abd Rahman, MBI Chief WHIP Clr. Wong Kar Keat, Councillors, City Secretary Ahmad Munir Ishak, Heads of Departments, officers and staff of MBI.

This event served as a symbol of unification of the spirit of patriotism and the solidarity of MBI staff in conjunction with the National Month 2025 celebration. Among the main highlights was the Jalur Gemilang handover parade, involving the MBI marching contingent and 17 MBI vehicles, carrying the message of unity and love for the country.

Hopefully, this launch can further ignite the spirit of nationalism among the residents of Ipoh, while encouraging every business and residential premises to fly the Jalur Gemilang as a sign of strong support for efforts to foster love for the nation.

The theme for the National Day and Malaysia Day 2025 celebrations is "Malaysia MADANI: Rakyat Disantuni", which is a shared commitment to building a united, harmonious and progressive society.
