MBI INTEGRITY TALK PROGRAMME: “FROM ROCK TO SOUL – A SEARCH FOR SELF-INTEGRITY” ATTRACTS OVER 200 MBI STAFF

IPOH, 18 NOVEMBER 2025 – More than 200 Ipoh City Council (MBI) staff attended a relaxed yet meaningfully talk session titled “From Rock to Soul: A search For Self-Integrity,” held at the MBI Operations Room this morning.

The programme, organised by the MBI Integrity Unit, featured Ustaz Akhil Hayy as the invited panelist, who shared stories of his life journey, personal experiences and self-transformation in building integrity, resolute principles and identity. His relaxed and casual delivery approach, infused with motivational elements, made the session more interesting, easy to understand and close to the hearts of the participants.

The programme was also an important platform in strengthening MBI staff’s understanding of the values of integrity, trust and accountability in carrying out their duties, in line with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI and the Ipoh Bestari Sejahtera development agenda.

Earlier, Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah officiated the Launch Ceremony of Integrity Week 2025, themed “Instilling Integrity in Every Step.” Also present were MBI Chief WHIP Dato' Mazlan Abd. Rahman, Councillors, City Secretary Ahmad Munir Ishak, as well as MBI Heads of Departments and Units.
