NUSANTARA CHARITY DINNER WITH DATUK (DR) M. NASIR

17 March 2025 - Ipoh Mayor Dato' Rumaizi Baharin@Md Daud chaired the Press Conference of the Nusantara Charity Dinner with Datuk (Dr) M. Nasir this morning.

It was also attended by Kelab Bakti Gunung Keledang Chairman Clr. Muhammad Hamzah Md Hamdan, Charity Dinner with Datuk (Dr) M. Nasir Chairman Norali Nordin, and Kelab Bakti Gunung Keledang members.

The Kelab Bakti Gunung Keledang (KBGK), under the wing of a foundation known as Yayasan Bakti Gunung Keledang, in collaboration with MBI will hold an event called "Nusantara Charity Dinner with Datuk (Dr) M. Nasir" on 3 May 2025 (Saturday) from 8.00 pm to 10.45 pm at the Ipoh Convention Centre.

The purpose of this Charity Dinner is to raise funds for KBGK to implement the programmes and activities planned throughout 2025. Every year, KBGK is inundated with requests from individuals or charitable organisations, such as people with disabilities, individuals with autism, orphanages, and homes for the elderly needing assistance to carry out their charity work.

In this regard, KBGK feels that it is time for the Club to make the Charity Dinner an annual event. This time, KBGK will feature a legendary singer and composer, known as "Sifu" among the nation's artists, Datuk (Dr) M. Nasir, with the theme "Malam Nusantara".

KBGK aims to raise funds of up to RM800,000.00 via sponsorship of 140 tables priced at RM10,000.00, RM5,000.00 and RM3,000.00. As usual, the Club will select ten (10) chosen Charitable Organisations as recipients of donations, alongside other activities that will also be presented before the guests are entertained by Datuk (Dr) M. Nasir.

The donation presentation ceremony will be graced by HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah.

Kelab Bakti Gunung Keledang would like to express its deepest appreciation to all corporate companies, organisations and agencies under the management of the Perak State Government, as well as individuals who have sponsored tables to make this Charity Dinner a success. All these sponsorships will be eligible for tax exemptions.
