PERAK STATE LEVEL MAAL HIJRAH CELEBRATION 1448H / 2026M

IPOH, 16 JUNE 2026 – The Perak State Government organised the State Level Maal Hijrah Celebration 1448H / 2026M tonight as a sign of commemorating the great migration of Rasulullah SAW and embracing the values of unity, sacrifice and excellence of the ummah.

HRH Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced the ceremony. 

Also gracing the event were HH Raja Muda Perak, Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa and HH Raja DiHilir Perak, Raja Iskandar Dzulkarnain Sultan Idris Shah. 

Also present was Perak Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad, together with the leadership of the Perak State Government. 

Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah was also in attendance to enliven the event. 

Among the main contents of the programme were Zikir Asma’ Al-Husna, recitation of the Quran and its translation, video screening of award recipients and presentation of prizes to award recipients in conjunction with the Maal Hijrah celebration. 

The awards presented included the Al-Quba’ Award for Best Mosque Management, the Al-Baqi’ Award for Best Islamic Cemetery Management, the Asnaf Icon Award, the Siti Khadijah Award for Women Figure, the Saidina Ali Award for Youth Figure, the Saidina Abu Bakar Award for Ar-Ridzuan Figure and the Maal Hijrah 1448H Figure Award. 

The organisation of this event is hoped to ignite the spirit of Hijrah among the community and strengthen the collective determination towards building a more excellent, competitive and prosperous ummah.
