SURVEILLANCE AUDIT ANTI-BRIBERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ABMS) STAGE 1

IPOH CITY COUNCIL COMMITTED TO MONITORING ANTI-CORRUPTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

IPOH, 4 JULY 2025 – The Stage 1 Surveillance Audit for the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS), MS ISO 37001:2016, will be conducted at the Ipoh City Council (MBI) on 3 and 4 July 2025.

The audit will be carried out by a team of auditors from SIRIM, comprising Khairul Azmi Pumijan, Ir. R. Raguraman and Norazlina Ibrahim.

The audit opening session was officiated with the presence of Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah, City Secretary Ahmad Munir Ishak, department directors and department representatives.

During the two-day audit, the Integrity Unit acted as the main secretariat and coordinator, ensuring that all processes ran smoothly in line with MBI's commitment to transparent, integrity-based and corruption-free governance.

The Ipoh City Council remains committed to strengthening a culture of integrity through the implementation of a globally recognised anti-corruption management system.
