THE 'LARIAN WARISAN MALAYSIA 2025' PROGRAM
January 19, 2025 - Y. Bhg. Dato' Rumaizi Bin Baharin@Md Daud, Mayor of Ipoh completed the Larian Warisan Malaysia 2025 Release Ceremony this morning.
The program held at the Indera Mulia Stadium in Ipoh was also attended by YDH Toh Mahkota Lela Tuan Haji Abu Bakar @ Yusof bin Mohamed, Tuan Haji Mazlan Bin Mohamad, Director of the Perak State Sports Council (MSN), Y.Bhg. Clr. Dato' Ahmad Hariri bin Kamarudin, The MBI Council Member is also the Chairman of the MBI Tourism, Arts, Culture and Heritage Sub-Committee, Council Member, Senior Director, MBI Department Head, JBS Perak representative, MOTAC Perak representative, Perak FC Assistant General Manager and Perak FC Coach.
The Larian Warisan Malaysia 2025 is a community-focused running event, which aims to celebrate Malaysia's rich cultural heritage.
The event is also held to promote national unity, cultural pride, and a healthy lifestyle.
About 1200 participants from various backgrounds took part in this event with running distances of 5 kilometers (km) and 10 km.
The theme of this running program is linked to Malaysian tradition, where the participants will wear traditional clothes or national colors.
This lively event is also interspersed with various interesting activities including cultural performances, traditional food stalls, and family-friendly activities.
