CONGRATULATIONS...MBI DEFENDS CHAMPION OF LOCAL GOVERNING PARTY CHOIR COMPETITION (PBT) YAB MENTERI BESAR PERAK DARUL RIDZUAN CUP IN 2024
19 December 2024 - The Ipoh City Council (MBI) continued to defend its championship when it won the Local Authority Choir Competition (PBT) YAB Menteri Besar Perak Darul Ridzuan Cup 2024 which took place this afternoon.
The competition, which was held in Taiping Perak, saw as many as 10 PBTs out of 15 have participated.
Through the competition, the Vice-Champion was held by the Central Perak District Council, (MDPT), in 3rd place belonging to the Selama District Council (MDS), while the Taiping Municipal Council (MPT) got 4th place, in addition to winning the supporter's award the best
Meanwhile, the Manjung Municipal Council (MPM) choir group was crowned as the winner of the best performance award.
Prizes for the winners in the form of cash and accompanying trophies were presented by Ybhg Tuan Khairul Amir Bin Mohamad Zubir, YDP MPT, as the host for this event.
Earlier, the opening event of the Local Authority Choir Competition (PBT) of the YAB Menteri Besar Perak Darul Ridzuan Cup 2024, was completed by the Chairman of the Perak State Housing and Local Government Committee Sandrea Ng Shy Ching, representing the YAB Mentari Besar of Perak.
MBI congratulates everyone and this championship has placed MBI as the best choir team in PBT Perak in line with the recognition of Ipoh as the City of Music.
