COURTESY VISIT OF NANNING MUNICIPAL PEOPLE'S GOVERNMENT DELEGATION ON MAYOR OF IPOH

IPOH, 11 AUGUST 2025 – Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah received a courtesy visit from the Nanning Municipal People's Government Delegation, led by Nanning City Government Deputy Secretary-General Kuang Di, at the Ipoh City Council (MBI) Building.

It was also attended by Councillors, City Secretary and MBI Heads of Departments.

The discussion during the visit focused on strategic cooperation opportunities in urban development, investment, and strengthening bilateral relations between Ipoh and Nanning. The delegation and MBI representatives exchanged views on economic development, tourism and smart city technologies that could be strengthened together.

It is hoped that this courtesy visit can open up opportunities for closer cooperation to develop both cities and benefit the people.
