IPOH MAYOR ATTENDS INCULCATION OF NOBLE VALUES AND ENGAGEMENT SESSION WITH MBI ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT STAFF

IPOH, 18 JUNE 2025 – Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah took the time to attend an Inculcation of Noble Values and Engagement Session with the Ipoh City Council Environmental Health Department staff, held at the Anggerik Meeting Room, Level 10, MBI this morning.

He also expressed his appreciation for the high dedication of the department personnel, especially field staff, such as Assistant Environmental Health Officers (PPKP), Public Health Assistants (PKA), and Administrative Assistants (Operations), who are the backbone of the department's daily tasks.

The session also witnessed a presentation by MBI Environmental Health Director Raman a/l Maran, who provided a comprehensive overview of the department’s current situation, including the challenges faced and the urgent needs that require immediate management attention.

In his speech, the Mayor emphasised that a strong level of environmental health is an important foundation in enhancing the quality of services for city residents, and thus ensuring the overall well-being of the community in Ipoh.

He also called upon all MBI staff to remain committed and work together in realising the vision of making Ipoh a Smart and Prosperous City.
