MAYOR OF IPOH VISITS MADANI RECREATIONAL PARK (TRM) PROJECT SITE

IPOH, 7 AUGUST 2025 – Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah conducted a site visit to two locations of the Madani Recreational Park (TRM) project, i.e., at Taman Boon Bak and Taman Pengkalan Barat this morning.

Also present were Pasir Pinji Assemblyman (ADUN) Goh See Hua, Ipoh City Council (MBI) heads of departments, and representatives from the contractor companies involved.

This visit was a follow-up to the meeting with Goh on 4 July 2025, which discussed complaints and dissatisfaction from local residents regarding the quality of work and the physical finishing of the TRM project.

During the visit, several issues were identified, including unsatisfactory finishing quality and aspects of project implementation that require immediate improvement.  

The contractors were asked to take corrective action and carry out immediate repair works to ensure that the project meets the standards set by the Council and fulfills the needs of the community's well-being.

The Ipoh City Council is committed to ensuring that every development project implemented is of high quality, has a positive impact and brings long-term benefits to the residents of Ipoh city.
