MBI INTEGRITY UNIT HEAD CONCLUDES CERTIFIED INTEGRITY OFFICER (CeIO) PROGRAMME SERIES 41

IPOH, 10 JULY 2025 – The Ipoh City Council (MBI) Integrity Unit Head has successfully concluded the Certified Integrity Officer (CeIO) Programme Series 41, No.1/2025. The CeIO programme, participated by 43 officers from various departments and agencies in Perak, was organised by the Perak State Secretariat Integrity Unit and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

The Integrity Talk Programme titled "Development of Religious Education Institutions", an Integrity Sustainability Seminar (SKI) which was a part of the mandatory module in CeIO, served as the closing event of the CEIO programme. The seminar aimed to raise community awareness, especially among those managing religious institutions, on the importance of planning permission and building plan approval in the operation of religious education institutions in Perak.

The closing ceremony was officiated by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, and witnessed by State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim and MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention) Dato' TKPj Azmi Kamaruzaman.

Also present to show support was Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah.

The participation of the MBI Integrity Unit Head in this course reflects the commitment of the Ipoh City Council to strengthening a culture of integrity, ethical governance and administration at the local government level.
