MBI ORGANISES PROTECTIVE SECURITY AWARENESS COURSE FOR STAFF

IPOH, 23 OCTOBER 2026 – In an effort to strengthen understanding of protective security management and compliance, Ipoh City Council (MBI) organised a Protective Security Awareness Course for its staff at a programme held at the Ipoh Convention Centre (ICC).

The course aimed to enhance the knowledge and understanding of staff comprehensively regarding management aspects as well as compliance with protective security policies and procedures at MBI.

Moreover, the course provided exposure to the methods of conducting self-assessments for the protective security audit team in preparation for the audit session scheduled to take place from 26 to 29 October 2026.

The one-day course was conducted by Aminuddin Ramli, Assistant Director, Office of the Chief Government Security Officer (CGSO) of Malaysia, Perak.
