PRESENTATION CEREMONY OF LETTERS OF ACCEPTANCE TO SUCCESSFUL CONTRACTORS BY MAYOR OF IPOH

IPOH, 18 SEPTEMBER 2025 – Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah officiated the Presentation Ceremony of Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) to the successful contractors this afternoon.

The event was held as a gesture of appreciation to the 32 companies selected via the Ipoh City Council (MBI) procurement process, i.e., 6 companies for supply and service procurement and 26 companies for the works procurement, while also emphasising the importance of executing projects efficiently, according to schedule, and in compliance with the set standards.

In his speech, the Mayor also advised contractors not to outsource work to third parties (subcontractors), but instead to carry out the projects directly to ensure the quality and effectiveness of work implementation.

He also took the opportunity to mingle with the successful contractors to foster closer cooperation between MBI and contractors.

The ceremony was also attended by the Heads of Departments of MBI.
