TEAM MANAGERS MEETING AND DRAW SESSION FOR IPOH CITY VETERAN 9A TOURNAMENT (ICV 2025)

IPOH, 10 OCTOBER 2025 – The Team Managers Meeting and Draw Session for the Ipoh City Veteran 9A Tournament (ICV 2025) was held tonight at the Operations Room, Ipoh City Council (MBI).

The meeting involved 13 teams participating in the tournament and also saw the official group draw session to determine the match schedule throughout the tournament.

The meeting, chaired by City Community Services Director Romzi Zamri, was aimed at briefing on the terms and regulations of the Ipoh City Veteran Tournament and conducting a draw session for grouping, which also emphasised discipline, sportsmanship and friendship among participants as the main thrust of organising this tournament.

The Ipoh City Veteran 9A Championship (ICV 2025) is an annual platform organised by the Ipoh City Council (MBI) which aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among veteran football players, besides strengthening unity and community networking in Ipoh city.

Three main groups were formed through the draw, with matches scheduled to be held soon at Padang DR. Seenivasagam, Padang Ipoh and Padang Sultan Abdul Jalil.

MBI wishes all the best to all the competing teams and hopes the tournament will be a great success, reflecting a high spirit of sportsmanship among veteran players not only from Ipoh city but also those from outside Ipoh and other states.
