COURTESY VISIT BY MAYOR OF IPOH TO PERAK MACC

20 JUNE 2025 - Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah paid a courtesy visit to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Perak Office.

The visit was welcomed by Perak MACC Director Dato' TPj Ahmad Sabri Mohamed.

The purpose of the visit was to seek information, advice and share views regarding strengthening the culture of integrity and good governance in the management of Ipoh City Council (MBI).

During the meeting, various matters were discussed, including efforts to strengthen anti-corruption mechanisms, the inculcation of integrity values among MBI staff, and the establishment of strategic cooperation between the local authorities and MACC.

This visit reflects MBI's ongoing commitment to creating a working environment that is transparent, accountable and free from corrupt practices.
