LAUNCH CEREMONY OF PERAK PAWSITIVE INITIATIVE 2025 PROGRAMME

IPOH, 13 AUGUST 2025 – HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim today officiated the Perak Pawsitive Initiative 2025 Programme for Kinta District, i.e., a Subsidised Dog and Cat Neutering Campaign, held at the Red Crescent Hall in Ipoh.

Also present were Perak Menteri Besar’s wife Datin Seri Aezer Zubin, State Housing and Local Government Committee Chairman Sandrea Ng Shy Ching, and Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah.

This programme is implemented as an initiative to strengthen public awareness of responsible pet ownership, control the stray animal population, and promote ethical neutering practices via subsidised support. This effort benefits not only animal welfare but also contributes to community well-being and environmental sustainability in Perak.
